helpful to include
    the inbox
one address for everything. it reaches a person, not a ticket queue.
    what happens next

    no auto-replies, no ticket numbers.

    01
    a person reads it

every message gets read by an actual human, usually within a day or two of landing. nothing gets filtered into a void.

    02
    we reply properly

usually within a couple of days. if it's a busy week around an issue going out, it can stretch a little longer — it's a small team.

    03
    nothing gets shared

what you send stays between us. we never publish a message, a name, or a story without asking you first, every time.

    quick answers

    before you write.

not directly — we're peers, not clinicians, and we can't make referrals. but the resources page lists the free helplines that can, including samhsa on 1-800-662-4357, who will find something local and affordable for you.

yes, and we'd love that. pick "sharing my story" above, or drop it in the discord. nothing gets published without your explicit yes, and anonymous is always an option.

usually a couple of days. around the first week of a month, when an issue is going out, it can take longer. if a week passes with nothing, please do nudge us — it means we missed it, not that we're ignoring you.

we've never run an ad and the issues stay free either way. we're open to partnerships that genuinely serve the readers — pick "partnership" above and tell us what you had in mind.

you can, but the link at the bottom of any issue is instant. no exit interview, no "are you sure" — and you're always welcome back.

please tell us. pick "a community concern" above, or ping any mod in the discord. if someone might be in danger, contact emergency services first — then let us know so the care team can follow up.

    prefer a form?

if you'd rather not open your email app, drop a Squarespace Form Block directly underneath this code block and it'll sit right here. name, email, topic and message is plenty.

    — delete this dashed box once the form is in, or leave it out entirely; the router above already works on its own.

there's no wrong way to reach out.

    we're listening. genuinely.
