elevate. is a monthly mental-health newsletter and community — a softer corner of the internet.
elevate. is a monthly mental-health newsletter and community founded by eric. it began as a 2am notes-app draft and grew into a place for honest check-ins, music, and peer support — with no performance and no algorithms. free and gentle, always.
elevate. is a monthly mental-health newsletter and online community founded in 2025 by eric. what started as a 2am notes-app draft became a growing space built on one idea: you don't have to be okay here. each issue is an honest letter about a single feeling or theme. the community — a discord home to daily check-ins, a wins wall, monthly prompts, and a 24/7 radio station called elevate.fm — extends that letter into something living. elevate. is peer support, not a crisis service, and is free to join. it is deliberately small, warm, and unhurried.
eric is the founder of elevate., a mental-health newsletter and community. he writes about rest, honesty, and the ordinary work of taking care of yourself — mostly by figuring it out out loud.

elevate. started as a 2am notes-app draft. not a business plan — just a person writing the thing he needed to read, on a night he needed to read it.
it became a monthly letter, then a community. the idea underneath it never changed: most of us are doing okay-ish, most of the time, and there's almost nowhere honest to say that. no performance, no algorithm deciding who deserves to be heard.
today it's a free newsletter, a discord where people check in every morning, and a 24/7 radio station that mostly plays quiet music. it is deliberately small. growing slowly is the point, not a limitation.
attributable to eric, founder of elevate. — use freely, in full, in context.
“i started elevate. because i needed it first. i think that's the only honest reason to build anything like this.”
“you don't have to be okay to belong somewhere. that's the whole thesis.”
“rest isn't a reward you unlock. it's maintenance.”
“we grow slowly on purpose. a community that scales faster than its care does isn't a community anymore.”
happy to do interviews, panels, or written Q&As. eric speaks from lived experience and from running the community — he is not a clinician and doesn't give clinical or medical commentary.

⚠ what elevate. is and isn't
elevate. is peer support — not therapy, counseling, treatment, or a crisis service. we are not healthcare providers, we don't employ clinicians in that capacity, and nothing we publish is medical advice or a substitute for professional care. please don't describe us as any of those things.
we also don't claim outcomes. we're a newsletter and a community, not an intervention.
📎 if you're covering mental health
we'd be genuinely grateful if you included a helpline alongside the piece: 988 (call or text, US), text HOME to 741741, or findahelpline.com internationally. it matters more than the mention of us.
if you're reporting on suicide or self-harm specifically, please consider the reportingonsuicide.org guidelines. we'll happily fact-check a draft.
© using our name & assets
you may use the elevate. name, wordmark, and the assets on this page for editorial coverage of, or agreed partnerships with, elevate. please use them unaltered and in context.
please don't use them to imply endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership that hasn't been agreed in writing, in a way that could confuse people about who published something, or as part of your own product, logo, or branding. the elevate. name and marks remain ours.
member posts and community conversations are not ours to give away — please don't quote, screenshot, or reproduce anything from the community without that person's explicit consent. this one really matters to us.
if we've got something wrong, or you'd like us to review a draft, email hello@getelvt.biz and we'll respond quickly.
we'd love to help — quotes, extra assets, an interview, or just a fact-check. we reply to every press email within 48 hours.
